We would be happy to recommend The Golden Whisk as a result of our experience with the catering that they provided for our daytime wedding reception on Sat June 18th 2011.  Katie was very professional and willing to cater to our requests as required. She was extremely helpful and flexible in the planning process and we were impressed with her cooking skills. On the day, we were pleased with the waitress service and presentation of the dishes. The food tasted lovely and we had very good feedback from our guests.

The Golden Whisk recently catered a party for my husbands 60th birthday. As it was a surprise I couldn't be at the venue when Katie delivered the food, but not only did she lay the food out, she also helped to lay everything else out on the tables. I cannot fault Katie's catering skills. The food was well presented, tasty and there was more than enough for all of our guests to have more if required. I have also been a guest at a function catered by The Golden Whisk, and just from that would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I originally used The Golden Whisk when organising a company Christmas party and have subsequently gone on to use them personally for a private dinner party. At the company Christmas party at CIPFA, which I organised and used the Golden Whisk for, we had bowl food followed by desserts. The food was amazing and the service was to match. On a personal note, I can not thank the Golden Whisk enough. They took the stress out of hosting my dinner party. They cooked in my home, served the food and cleaned up after themselves. Complete 5 star service from beginning to end – nothing was too much trouble for them, even when I kept changing my menu choices. All my guests loved the canapés on arrival, followed by an 8 course personalised tasting menu. No dinner party will ever match.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Katie who cooked us a lovely meal for our New Year's Eve celebration. The food was amazing and beautifully presented. (The popping candy cheesecake really sparkled!) The evening was a great success and several of our guests said it was one of the best New Years they'd had.  Katie and Chi were a pleasure to have in the house and their service ran seamlessly. They were like magical kitchen elves, ...taking all the stress away and letting us just enjoy the fun side of a dinner party.  The morning after I woke up, bleary eyed, expecting the post party clear up and found a shiningly clean kitchen! I was also very excited when I found extra champagne sorbet in the freezer!!  I hope 2015 is a very successful year for Golden Whisk and Katie. I'll happily provide a recommendation for you and I've already told all our friends what a positive experience it was. How early do we need to book you for

next year?!!

We first met Katie at the wedding fair at Valentines Mansion and from a number of other Catering options on offer we chose to employ the Golden Whisk to cater our wedding because we were incredibly impressed by Katie’s passion for food, her delicious samples and most importantly for her willingness to listen to our personal needs and ideas. Having now had the wedding of our dreams which included Afternoon Tea (vintage style); a c...old wedding breakfast buffet and a hot evening buffet, we can wholeheartedly recommend Katie and the Golden Whisk as an excellent catering firm to employ for any function or event. We would certainly choose them again if we have another occasion in the future. Our guests are still telling us how delicious the food was, how beautifully it was presented and how much they all had to eat! Of equal importance, during the preparation leading up to the wedding, Katie was always patient and ready with helpful (and wise) ideas. She was also calm and confident which helped us to feel relaxed that all would be well on the day. All of this confidence proved to be well founded as on our Big Day we were overwhelmed by the loveliness of everything – all delivered exactly as promised! Furthermore, as The Golden Whisk is a family business, the friendly manner of all the staff working incredibly hard behind the scenes added the personal touch which helped to make our day memorable for all the right reasons!
